boring and uneventful...

Today I woke up in a bad mood, probably in part because I went to bed upset. I took a shower and then intended to take a bus downtown to deposit my birthday check and go to an arts and crafts store to get stuff that I could magically transform into a present for Sarah. Kind of a long shot, seeing as I'm not crafty to begin with. But anyway, I ended up missing the bus. And then I remembered my bank would be closed anyway by the time I got there. So I didn't bother waiting for the next one. I went into Roth's to see if I could find stuff there. I couldn't. So I started walking home, and had a good idea for a Flash animation I could do instead. But just as I tried adding the second frame, the software froze up and I had to reset my computer.

By this point I was in a pretty pissy mood (a rarity for me) and threw my sweatshirt across the room in frustration before deciding to lay down to take a nap. That didn't last long and I got up simply to waste more time. Several hours later I decided to go the store to get some food, and somehow noticed where the art stuff was hiding. I didn't have my debit card so I left the cart and ran home to get it, came back, bought everything, and walked home. Sarah had left a message in the meanwhile and I responded, while working on her Christmas present (or card, or whatever), still in a rather irritable mood.
